Like with most of Apple’s FCC fillings, FCC revealed nothing on the iPad before the pre-orders started yesterday.
Model A1337 or also known as the iPad was tested by FCC and spotted to carry WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n and Bluetooth and the 3G Models will run on AT&T, GSM 850/1900 and UMTS 850/1900.

We know that the 3G version of iPad is 0.1 pound heavier than the WiFi-only iPad, but Interestingly enough, the FCC filling reveals that the 3G iPad is also 0.3mm taller and 0.1mm wider.

According to Berthold Thoma, CEO of Hutchison Austria, The carrier will be offering the iPad for folks in Austria. Purchasers willing to be bond to a 2-year data contract (29.90 Euro, 5GB/Month) will get a 333 Euro/$455 discount. Frankly we still don’t know international pricing for the iPad, so the final price after the discount is a mystery.
Let the battle begin, it turns out that Apple doesn’t actually own the iPad trademark, it is owned by computer maker Fujitsu. The company have a device that is used in retail establishments and has been around since 2002 also called the iPad. Fujitsu is now preparing to begin litigation or settlement terms with Apple over the name it rightfully owns. My best guess is Jobb’s and company will throw some money at this problem, and it will all go away especially since most consumers have never heard of Fujitsu’s iPad. So Fujitsu could stand to do one of two things, make some serious cash off of the trademark that they own, or they could throw a big wrench into the gears of Apple’s newly released tablet. We will just have to wait and see how it all plays out let us know in the comments what you think is going to happen and just how much you want this new magical little device.
